Currency Monitor Methodology

Direct market data and machine-calculation results, with no fabricated data

System methodology

Every number is traceable to a scraped observation or a documented formula.

1. Iranian rial formatting

Iranian rial values are integers only; decimals are never displayed. Digits are grouped in blocks of three and the unit «ریال» is placed after the number with exactly one space.

2. Language and direction

The system supports exactly three languages: Persian, Arabic and English. Persian and Arabic are RTL; English is LTR. The templates apply the reading direction to content, tables, columns and navigation.

3. Time and calendar

Gregorian, Jalali and Hijri dates are stored. Observation time is stored in Tehran and converted dynamically for presentation: Persian → Tehran, Arabic → Dubai, English → New York.

Persian shows Jalali and Gregorian; Arabic shows Hijri and Gregorian; English shows Gregorian.

4. Market Data API

API rates are the actual scraped observations. No fair value, bubble, score or forecast is inserted into this layer. No fabricated or copied-forward market value is created.

5. Scraping and holidays

GitHub Actions runs throughout the year. Holidays do not stop scraping, and Iranian official holidays are explicitly marked.

6. Machine analysis and daily gauge

One independent calculation snapshot is generated daily. ENTRY ATTRACTIVENESS is a calculation output only and is not a buy or sell recommendation.

The daily report renders three gauges for each asset with enough history: Summary, Technical Indicators, and Moving Averages. Technical Indicators use RSI(14), MACD(12,26,9), ROC(12) and Momentum(10) when enough observations exist. Moving Averages use SMA and EMA for periods 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200; unavailable periods are excluded.

Each gauge is scored from 0 to 100: below 20 Strong Sell, 20–below 40 Sell, 40–below 60 Neutral, 60–below 80 Buy, and 80–100 Strong Buy. Summary is the mean of the available Indicators and Moving Averages scores. These labels are statistical classifications of recorded observations, not trading signals or investment advice.
